DREAM BIG

Dream Big is here!!!!!!

Mischief Circus just released their newest collaboration and it is FABULOUS!  I really do need to quit my day job....   too much to create with all these amazing kits.   ...and I haven't even thought of what I can do mix and matching them yet!  This is just what I managed to get done for my CT work.

I'll start with Crowabout StudioB's kit.   As always funky and fun.   I always love seeing what the other members of her CT do.  They do the most amazing things with her pieces.  Always thinking outside the box and amazing me with their creativity.

ONE DAY YOU WILL FLY

LIVE

This piece holds special meaning.  Friends and I have a saying, "If you cannot LIVE for yourself, live for me.  I will LIVE for you."   Sounds simple but for some it is not.  To find that one thing to hold onto when you can't do it for yourself is sometimes as simple as doing it for someone else.

MY RESOLUTION.
Yeah, don't hold your breath. It's the 11th of January and I still don't even own a pair of running shoes!

Next up:  Holliewood Studio

I don't even know where to start.  Again... if I didn't have a day job!!!  This kit has SO much in it.  So much you can do.  You can play for weeks and never use up all the ideas of things to do with this kit.  The backgrounds are amazing.  If I were going to LIVE inside a kit.. this would be the one!

BELIEVE

DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT

IN MY DREAMS

MOON DREAMS

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

WOODLAND DREAMS

Marta Van Eck 's kit is adorable!!!   All the sleeping characters too cute!   Definitely a dream to open the kit and find beautiful papers, animals and oh so many pillows!

GIVE ME SOME LOVE
(even a giraffe needs love)

NO MORE WINE AFTER 9PM

I had fun with this one.  I could just imagine a nighttime photo shoot at the beach... a little too much vino.  Yup, it could happen!

WISH UPON A STAR

In all it's simplicity... this one is my favorite.  With a brand new little nephew.. to me this is him.  Since the first day I laid eyes on him.... I hope all his dreams come true.

SWEET DREAMS

Tumble Fish Studio NEVER disappoints.  Just when I think there is nothing else she could possibly put in a kit (her kits that are always OVERLOADED with delightfulness) she shocks me again.  The bird bodies in this one... too cute!  I love everything about this kit and there are sooooo many more ideas still in my head.

BELIEVE YOU CAN FLY

DEEP DREAMS

HOPE

LOVE WHO YOU ARE

What can I say about Xquizart that I haven't already.  She is the reason I came to Mischief Circus.  I know I've told the story before but I was searching for mermaids to make something for my granddaughter's room.  I immediately fell in love with her artdolls.  Who would have thought I'd be where I am today?  Truly living a DREAM getting to play with such fabulous kits from such amazing artists.

I adore her latest kit.  The vivid colors, the fish and oh, how I want to use each and every single paper!!!  They are amazing.

SET SAIL WITH YOUR DREAMS

DANCE

THE CHARIOT

DREAM

GOLDEN DREAMS

.....and when I didn't think I'd have time for one more and did.......

DARE TO DREAM

Never give up on your dreams!  Always take chances.  Put yourself out there.  Reach for the stars!  You never know what's around the next corner if you don't take that step!

For me.... around the next corner was an invite today to join Mary Bailey's MILES BEYOND THE MOON creative team.   I don't know how I got here... but, I'm enjoy the ride!!!!  I could not be more thankful to be among such amazing people, who accept me, teach me, inspire me and love me!

Life is good!   Living the dream!!!!

Travel light in life.  Take only what you need; someone to love, someone to love you..... and a DREAM

Until next time.

MY FIRST CHALLENGE

Tonight I participated in my first ATC Challenge.  It's a Scavenger Hunt.  Oh, how fun.  We were given a list of ten items and must use five of them on our piece.  I had high hopes of using all ten but it was harder than I thought.  May have to work on another one this weekend "just because".

I did manage to use all of the items listed except the "wings and hands".  I wonder if it counts that the bird has wings and the lady dressed in stripes has hands.  hhhhmmmmmm

So here you have it!   Loved the challenge.  Will have to join in more of this sort of fun.

My First Ever Scavanger ATC.  Oh, what fun!!!!

Miss Stripes invites everyone to visit her house, where the birds are always singing, the stars are always shining, and the snow is bright.  She lives at #9 Heart Lane.  Just look for the sign or the fish over the door.

VINTAGE ROSE

Greetings!  Happy New Year!

Just released Xquizart's newest collection "Vintage Rose"  You can find it here at Mischief Circus, as well as all of Deb's other kits.

I think I surprised myself.  I'm not a "pink" girl, but I had a lot of fun with this.  I came to Mischief Circus because of Deb's artdolls and have to say, I LOVE that she has now incorporated collections with accessories, furniture and the such.  So, much fun to make a strictly "Xquizart" piece, though I must admit, I still love throwing her dolls into just about every Mischief Circus kit I have, no matter the artist.

To prove the point I thought "outside" the box on this one.  I decided not to use a single doll, just to show what she has to offer along with her fabulous dolls.

This reminds me of an old gift stop I use to visit in an old train station.  I could walk around that place for hours and did most of my Christmas shopping there years ago.  It has since shut down, but if it were still there, I think it would look something like this for certain.

Anyone who has read from the beginning of this blog, knows I am my own worst critic and have little faith in myself.  Just applying to be a part of Deb's team was a HUGE thing for me.  To be chosen...well, yes.. I am still pinching myself.

For that reason, I think a lot of my pieces end up having to do with confidence and believing in yourself.  I think it's the hardest thing we sometimes have to do.

Believe it or not, in high school, I was voted "Class Optimist".  Apparently I have the gift of inspiration, courage, going forth and seizing the day for everyone but "ME".  lol   So, even though I'm not big on New Years Resolutions, I made two promises to myself for 2015.   To be more positive and to take better care of myself.   I already had my physical this week, but no one wants to hear about me turning 50 this year and needing a colonoscopy!  hahahaha

What I was getting to though, is being positive.  This next piece represents how hard it is to see what others see when we look in the mirror.

SELF ESTEEM.

"It's not your job to like me; It's MINE"

From there I moved on to my daily mantra to "believe in yourself".

I leave you this morning with a few more pieces I created with Xquizart's new Vintage Rose kit as well.  Remember, grab the kit..  Come play with me!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Happy New Year!!  Welcome to 2015.  While awaiting the release of Xquizart's newest kit (coming out tomorrow...YAY)  I have been playing with some of her older kits and a couple others as well.  Nothing better than a cold winter day and a bit of imagination.

This first piece was created with Holliewood's new "All That Glitters", TFS's "City Skies", Xquizart's artdolls.... "Halloween MC Performers" "Halloween MC Stripes", "Whimsy's Collectibles", "Fruit Punch" and "Peaches and Cream" Alphabets from my Holliewood and Pink Lotty. Signs from TFS and Holliewood. Fireworks from free online clip art.

I then jumped over to a few itKuPiLLi kits I have.   Really thought outside of my usual "box" on that one.  Not sure if it was the holiday cheer or the start of a new year giving me inspiration but I was quite proud of how it all ended up.

ICE BLUE

Created with itKuPiLLi's "Winter Tales" from www.mischiefcircus.com

I must have been in a "blue" mood because it appears it's all I worked with that evening.

SILENCE

She was thankful for her inability to speak, for if she did, everyone would know the craziness that went on in her head. Created with itKuPiLLi kits.

Winter Tales...
Welcome Winter
Sky is the Limit
Spiritis Mortis
Time Traveler
In The Hood
Oldies Ordinary
Cliché
Japanese
Complication
Aquarium
Museum
Lets Make a Scene
For Women Only
Souvenirs
Enchanted Trail... and I'm not sure what else I may have missed.

From there I headed back to some of my favorite Xquizart Dolls for a couple more pieces...

SHE WAS GOLDEN

Created with Xquizart's newest "Magnolia" kit.  Background from Holliewood Studio's "All That Glitters" and skyline from Krysty Scraps "Urban Fanatic"

Water Girl

Created with Holliewood Design's background "All That Glitters", Xquizart's "Under The Waterfall" and Eena's Creation's "Beyond the Seashore".  Greenery from Pink Lotty.

WHERE THERE'S A WILL

Created with Xquizart's "Be Still My Heart" artdoll,   Tumble Fish Studio's "City Skies".  Background from Holliewood's Midnight Reverie.

SHE WAITS

She dreams of a night on the town with the man of her dreams.  Maybe one day he'll come knocking.  Created with Xquizart's "Shades of Grey"

"Shades of Grey" have to to say is my all time favorite kit.  So much in this kit and every time I open it  I find something new I missed the last time I was there.  All sorts of fun options with this one for sure.

I rounded out New Years coming back to Xquizart's "Snowflake" kit that was recently released.

SHE DREAMS OF THE CITY
Her name was Snowflake. She lived in the forest and never wore shoes. But, once... just once, she wanted to leave the beautiful forest for the city streets, in December, during the snowfall. . . to see a show on Broadway. To dress like a fairy princess, to dance in the streets.... to come out from hiding.
Created with Xquizart's "SNOWFLAKE" kit. Buildings from Tumble Fish Studio's "City Skies" and embellishments from TFS's "Dreams Odd Show"

In closing I'll say it all depends how you look at it.  What have I accomplished as 2015 begins?  A few pages.  That is it.  But, to me that's a lot with this new passion I am enjoying.  Laundry is piling up, I need to vacuum.  I'm even trying to remember if I fed the cats today.  Oh yes, I am obsessed with scrapping.
