DREAM BIG

Dream Big is here!!!!!!

Mischief Circus just released their newest collaboration and it is FABULOUS!  I really do need to quit my day job....   too much to create with all these amazing kits.   ...and I haven't even thought of what I can do mix and matching them yet!  This is just what I managed to get done for my CT work.

I'll start with Crowabout StudioB's kit.   As always funky and fun.   I always love seeing what the other members of her CT do.  They do the most amazing things with her pieces.  Always thinking outside the box and amazing me with their creativity.

ONE DAY YOU WILL FLY

LIVE

This piece holds special meaning.  Friends and I have a saying, "If you cannot LIVE for yourself, live for me.  I will LIVE for you."   Sounds simple but for some it is not.  To find that one thing to hold onto when you can't do it for yourself is sometimes as simple as doing it for someone else.

MY RESOLUTION.
Yeah, don't hold your breath. It's the 11th of January and I still don't even own a pair of running shoes!

Next up:  Holliewood Studio

I don't even know where to start.  Again... if I didn't have a day job!!!  This kit has SO much in it.  So much you can do.  You can play for weeks and never use up all the ideas of things to do with this kit.  The backgrounds are amazing.  If I were going to LIVE inside a kit.. this would be the one!

BELIEVE

DREAMS TAKE FLIGHT

IN MY DREAMS

MOON DREAMS

FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

WOODLAND DREAMS

Marta Van Eck 's kit is adorable!!!   All the sleeping characters too cute!   Definitely a dream to open the kit and find beautiful papers, animals and oh so many pillows!

GIVE ME SOME LOVE
(even a giraffe needs love)

NO MORE WINE AFTER 9PM

I had fun with this one.  I could just imagine a nighttime photo shoot at the beach... a little too much vino.  Yup, it could happen!

WISH UPON A STAR

In all it's simplicity... this one is my favorite.  With a brand new little nephew.. to me this is him.  Since the first day I laid eyes on him.... I hope all his dreams come true.

SWEET DREAMS

Tumble Fish Studio NEVER disappoints.  Just when I think there is nothing else she could possibly put in a kit (her kits that are always OVERLOADED with delightfulness) she shocks me again.  The bird bodies in this one... too cute!  I love everything about this kit and there are sooooo many more ideas still in my head.

BELIEVE YOU CAN FLY

DEEP DREAMS

HOPE

LOVE WHO YOU ARE

What can I say about Xquizart that I haven't already.  She is the reason I came to Mischief Circus.  I know I've told the story before but I was searching for mermaids to make something for my granddaughter's room.  I immediately fell in love with her artdolls.  Who would have thought I'd be where I am today?  Truly living a DREAM getting to play with such fabulous kits from such amazing artists.

I adore her latest kit.  The vivid colors, the fish and oh, how I want to use each and every single paper!!!  They are amazing.

SET SAIL WITH YOUR DREAMS

DANCE

THE CHARIOT

DREAM

GOLDEN DREAMS

.....and when I didn't think I'd have time for one more and did.......

DARE TO DREAM

Never give up on your dreams!  Always take chances.  Put yourself out there.  Reach for the stars!  You never know what's around the next corner if you don't take that step!

For me.... around the next corner was an invite today to join Mary Bailey's MILES BEYOND THE MOON creative team.   I don't know how I got here... but, I'm enjoy the ride!!!!  I could not be more thankful to be among such amazing people, who accept me, teach me, inspire me and love me!

Life is good!   Living the dream!!!!

Travel light in life.  Take only what you need; someone to love, someone to love you..... and a DREAM

Until next time.

TULIPS AND SNOW

This seems to be becoming a winter trend.  A new kit is released and fifteen more inches of snow.  Another storm coming on Thursday and another big one possible for Monday.  Thankful for scrapping to keeping my cabin fever at bay!

Yesterday Xquizart released her newest kit, thankfully, with a springtime feel to it.  Introducing "TULIP".  The kits can be purchased at Mischief Circus.  As a newly released kit they are on sale for a short time.

This kit held a lot of personal meaning for me as far as tulips go.  There was a woman, years ago, who was ill and she loved tulips.  To surprise her, her husband that fall dug up the back yard and planted tulip bulbs everywhere.    She passed away before the spring thaw, and even years later, after new sod was laid out in the yard and the grass was green, tulips would sprout up in the oddest places.

As children we believed it was the work of angels. Margaret had come to visit the meadow.  We had never met her, she was gone before our arrival.  Margaret was our grandmother.

You can obviously see what I was humming the entire time I was creating these pieces.  My guess is you'll be humming it too by the time you're done reading this post.  It's my magical lore to drag you in and purchase the kit.  Is it working?

This "Grassy Knoll" piece was renamed "Queen of the Hill".  Grassy Knolls everywhere in the world, but for some reason once I typed it out, there was only one grassy knoll that came to mind.    (Yes, I'm pretty sure I do need to "see" someone... and if this blog is my therapy... I guess that person is you.  lol)

Often times I use other kits to complete my pieces, but have to say there was so much in the "Tulip" series to play with, it was several pages before I went elsewhere to continue with the ideas in my head.

Heck, this girl can make her own apartment... and I'm ready to move in!

Created with Xquizart's "TULIP" Artdoll Collectible and papers.  Drapes from Holliewood's "Theater of Dreams"  Window from Rucola Design's "Clockwork Autumn"

She is also a fabulous interior designer who likes to decorate with....  yes, you guessed it... TULIPS

The rectangular frame is from Xquizart's "Snowflake" kit.  The floor is from Tumble Fish Studio.

I leave you today with my warped mind and some VINO

                                                   SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD FLY

Created with Xquizart's new "Tulip" Artdoll Collectibles and Holliewood's "Void" and "enProvence"

Until we meet again......   CHEERS!

ALTERED REALITY

Good Morning, fellow bloggers and visitors

Stepped outside of my comfort zone again!  Yay, me.  I find that I'm getting a bit more daring lately and my goofy dark side has definitely been coming out.

Holliewood Studios came out with this fabulous, fun, new kit this week, ALTERED REALITY and I just had to play with it.  I don't think I did the kit justice, but it got me thinking outside my usual "box" and I always have her volume one I must go back and play with this weekend when it's snowing and I have no desire to leave the house.

The first piece I did was "BELIEVE" using "Altered Reality" and her "Believe" kit.  Downloaded the kit when it was time to go to bed but HAD to stay up to create at least one page.

She probably could have used an entire head of feather embellishments, but I was so excited to get a page done before bed, this is what I ended up with.  May have to rework this a bit.

I also used Hollie's "All That Glitters" paper as an overlay for some extra sparkle.

The next morning when I got up (no, I didn't call in sick to work...I had the week off) I decided to take my Maine Coon, Theodore on a journey....

A TRIP IN THE SS THEODORE TEAPOT SUBMARINE

Created with Holliewood Studio's "Altered Reality v.2"
Starring Theodore as your submarine Captain.

Water was appropriate for him.  He is my water cat.  Always into something wet, including the tub if I'm in it.  Both he and Thea have no issue being wet and going for a swim.

ME & MY ALTERED STATE OF MIND

This piece above is my favorite.  I have a fear (or should I be brave and say "respect") of water.  Not a big fan, so submerging myself, even in digital art takes my breath away a bit... My mother told me to remove the photo as my Facebook profile pic because it's creepy; my friend Jon said I was heading in the right direction but it wasn't creepy enough.

Must have been my mood that day, because I went for more creepy and every time I look at the next piece I just giggle, so I don't think I ended up with creepy.

I call this last one:  "BUGGING OUT"  ...and yes, I have been known to eat a bug or two, a live minnow or a spider on a dare...

That's about it for now... more to come.  A few more pieces I'm working on and a new kit next Monday from Xquizart.  YAY!

It's going to snow all weekend so plenty of time to be creative.  Thank you for stopping by...  the five of you that I see do!  hehehehe

Until next time!

Hugs from my corner,
Arline
